Sean O’Brien is a laboratory technician in Dr. McNutt’s lab at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM). Sean has a B.S. in Psychology with concentration in Behavior Analysis from James Madison University and an M.A. in Experimental Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Following graduation, Sean spent 8 years as a contractor and research fellow in multiple labs at the United States Army Medical Research Institute for Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) in Maryland. Sean is currently interested in examining treatments for botulinum-neurotoxin intoxication. Outside of work, Sean enjoys building and collecting mechanical keyboards, vegetable gardening, and watching episodes of Bear Grylls with his friends while they pick and verbally note the times in the episodes at which they wouldn’t survive.
