Lalitha Karchalla is a PhD student in the Integrative Physiology & Pharmacology Pharmacology program. Lalitha graduated from Michigan State University with a double major in Neuroscience and Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics. Lalitha is interested in understanding human responses to viral infections in the oral cavity by utilizing micro physiological systems. When not in lab, Lalitha enjoys reading books, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Mia.
