Catalina Gaviria is a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. McNutt’s lab at Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine. She received her PhD in Biomedical Sciences in 2022 from both the University of Antioquia and the University of Groningen. She is currently working on developing 3D skin equivalents composed of multiple cell types to study the effects of viral infection and toxins.
