Ashmitha Suresh Kumar is a PhD student in the Molecular Genetics and Genomics program. She earned her MS in Biomedical Sciences from Wake Forest University. Her research project focused on ‘The Role of Thymidylate Synthase & Exosomes in Colorectal Cancer Metastasis’. Ashmitha’s research interests include exosome biology and nanomedicine, specifically in the development of nano-based tools for disease progression and treatment. In her free time, Ashmitha enjoys painting, running, and Indian classical dancing.
